On February 6, for the first time within the charitable project #NaShapku, the jazz band Kostyantyn Ivchuk Trio will perform with the presentation of the program “Escapism.” In #NaShapku, even escapism can work wonders and raise funds for bone implants for our wounded.

Kostyantyn Ivchuk Trio will present a new program of original modern improvised music titled “Escapism,” with compositions that will be included in the band’s second album. Escapism is music for reflection, music for meditation, which incorporates lyricism, songfulness, and a philosophical stance in modern jazz. Escapism is an escape from reality in any form, an escape from oneself in this everyday life. Kostyantyn Ivchuk’s music prompts contemplation and existential immersion in the human world. For the composer, meditation is a creative starting point, a way of experiencing the world, captured in the musical text. Contemporary new jazz reveals the most hidden and raw emotions that are buried deep within us through the prism of everyday life.
