The May charity concerts #NASHAPKUwill open with the solo project of the combat drummer Oleksandr Seleznov – Oleksandr Seleznov ETC. Together with his friends, Oleksandr will help raise funds for bone implants for our wounded.

The founder and leader of the project Oleksandr Seleznov etc is Oleksandr Seleznov himself — the same drummer with a gun whose viral music videos “rocked” the internet.

In the past, Oleksandr has collaborated with many Ukrainian and international artists, including: Yevhen Khmara, MamaRika, Oleksandr Polozhynsky, Rowan Pattison, and others. Today, the musician serves in the Orchestra of the Honorary Guard of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using his talents to uplift his comrades and promote military creativity.

The concert program of the Oleksandr Seleznov etc project consists of fresh original, energetic compositions in the jazz-fusion style, as well as tracks from Oleksandr’s debut album “Freedom,” which was among the top 10 Ukrainian releases of 2020 according to the “Aprize” award by Radio Aristocrats.

During the war, Oleksandr filmed a series of music videos in which he plays various types of weapons: Kalashnikov rifle, javelin, handheld grenade launcher, stinger, and even anti-tank mine. Each of these videos became a kind of “social media hit” and received numerous positive reviews from the online community.

#NASHAPKU – A series of charity concerts featuring talented musicians and artists.
The tradition was initiated at the Volunteer Center “Frolovskaya 9/11”. It aimed to support displaced persons fleeing from the war in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine and to support volunteer battalions. Later, the volunteers of Frolovskaya founded the “SVOI” Foundation, which continued to care for displaced persons with complex diagnoses, palliative care patients, and systematically support medical institutions. During the COVID-19 epidemic, the “SVOI” Foundation provided Ukrainians with oxygen concentrators free of charge. Now we face new challenges: assisting the wounded, providing medical assistance to displaced persons and palliative care patients. The team of the “SVOI” Charitable Foundation helps to purchase bone implants for the wounded, assists hospitals with medications and equipment, and continues to support palliative care patients throughout Ukraine.

You can virtually donate #NASHAPKU right now on the “SVOI” Foundation website: https://svoyi.org.ua/nashapku/
