Join us for a unique evening of music on October 12 at Pepper’s Club! This time, you’ll experience an exciting collaboration between the Root Fruit Combo project and the talented vocalist Mary Kovalenco from the band Merry Mary.
Root Fruit Combo is the brainchild of Oleksii Filippenkov, a guitarist and saxophonist from RvB/Ruki’v Bryuki, as well as the band leader of Smokin A and Cosy Oleksa. In this collaboration, the energy and virtuosity of the band will blend beautifully with Mary’s captivating vocals, creating a one-of-a-kind musical atmosphere.
The concert repertoire will feature a remarkable variety of styles, including jazz, rhythm and blues, country blues, swing, and original songs. Root Fruit Combo will pay homage to the genre with lively swing, elegant French manouche, classic Dixieland, and a touch of jazz classics. Prepare for a night filled with jazz, western swing, and blues!
