Purpose: raising funds to support wounded defenders

Christmas is the time when you don’t look for miracles — you simply allow them to happen.
That’s exactly how we want to spend this evening: sincerely, genuinely, as if gathered with one big family, where no extra words are needed because everything that matters is already heard in the candlelight and the trembling of voices.

“Christmas for Our Own” is a warm gathering born out of the desire to bring a little miracle to wounded defenders cared for by the SVOЇ Foundation, and to help provide them with bone implants.
It is also a beautiful opportunity to spend Christmas evening in a cozy, family-like atmosphere — even if your loved ones are far away or you’re feeling lonely.

Performing for you:

• Tetiana Vlasova — a poet whose voice gently yet firmly reminds us that even in the darkest times, we are still capable of love.

• Yurii Strokan — a writer who can flip an entire universe with a single line and make you feel more than you thought possible.

• Tatusia Bo — a writer and blogger with the rare gift of blending humor, sincerity, and painful truths.

• Olha Dubchak — a linguist and philologist who, in her signature ironic style, will remind us of the love for language and join us in creating a new book, “Christmas in Ukrainian.”

And performing for us will be the talented guests —
the Art Music School ZABAVA exemplary vocal and pop ensemble, led by Dariia Kyrychenko.
