Purpose: fundraising to support the wounded
Ruslan Horovyi is a person who simply cannot be contained within a single definition.
For #NaShapku, he is a long-time and loyal friend; for those who understand television, he is a journalist and documentary filmmaker; for those in love with the Ukrainian word, he is a writer; for residents of the nearby Kyiv villages, he is a guardian angel; for the cat Zosia, he is God; and for Darusia and Liudmyla, he is simply everything. And that is still not the full list: he is a songwriter and performer, brother to Uki John, an inspirer of all things good, and a fearless exterminator of injustice — and every one of these alter egos is real.
Ruslan was born on February 29, so officially he gets to celebrate his birthday only once every four years, but this time he hacked the system and appointed his own date — we gather on the first Thursday of March, the 5th.
This evening there will be many friends and a lot of music.
