Purpose: fundraising to help wounded defenders
Their sound is a wall. Their lyrics are armor. Their mission is to help those fighting for Ukraine.
MEGAWHITE is not a new band. It is a new name for those who know what true Ukrainian rock is.
Formerly known as W.H.I.T.E., they are returning to the stage — with a new name, a new breath, and genuine truth in their songs. As part of the charity project NaShapku, they will play live for the very first time.
The band was founded by Oleh “Bilyi” Shevchenko back in 2005. As the author of the music and lyrics, frontman, producer, and founder of his own studio White Studio Records UA, he has walked the path from alternative to a true battle sound.
Over the years, dozens of tracks have been written, but the war has changed everything. Now MEGAWHITE plays exclusively patriotic rock that speaks directly — without filters, without fear, without compromise.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the band paused its concert activity. But now they are back on stage — exclusively for charity concerts, because today every sound matters.
Line-up of MEGAWHITE:
Oleh “Bilyi” Shevchenko — vocals, guitar
Serhii Boiko — bass
Stas “Red” Semiletov — guitar
Yaroslav Vilchyk — drums (yes, the very same Yaroslav from the legendary Motorr’olla)
MEGAWHITE won’t just play.
They will explode on stage — to raise funds for the wounded, for the front, for life.
